Christmas 2077 Old Man Kringle's Message

--------------------------
In a future, where neon megacities rise toward twilight skies and starships ply interstellar routes, the spirit of Christmas has begun to fade, overshadowed by technology and individualism. Humanity, scattered across the galaxy, has forgotten its traditions, and with them, the magic of the holidays.
However, in the heart of Earth's last metropolis, a legendary figure exists: a Cybernetic Santa Claus. He is not a jolly old man with a reindeer sleigh, but a towering figure in powerful biomechanical armor, designed to withstand the perils of a futuristic world. This "Mech Santa," also known as Kringle-7, delivers not toys, but hope. In his hand, he holds a crystal sphere -an ancient artifact said to contain the last vestige of Earth's Christmas joy.

It's incredible how realistic he looks. My renders always look like plastic.
I saved your postwork tutorial btw, I'm planning to follow it to join this contest. Good luck!

Thu, Dec 04, 2025Three-point lighting is always a great help in giving skin a realistic and textured look. It's an HDRi and two spotlights. I've been using this technique for 15 years, even in Poser, where I used an IBL and two spotlights.
