Name That Song December 2025
3D Render by maru_berlinFor the December issue of ‘Name That Song,’ it had to be a song that is mainly played just before Christmas.
The issue with it‘s text is part of the song's history, and therefore it was out of rotation for a while.
The song dates back to 1944 and has been sung by many, many interpreters: Dean Martin sang this duet, of course, but unfortunately also Michael Bublé. Others included Garth Brooks, Jason Derulo, Doris Day, not to mention Lady Gaga – again – and Kelly Clarkson. And those are just a few names from a long list of famous singers.
The popularity of the song proves to me that one can not judge the old lines by today's context.
And although it's an old song I could not help it but give it a contemporary twist.
And this is what it is NOT: - since it is not a Winter song, but that's not really a hint.
Last month's song was by Lady Gaga: The Dead Dance.
Merry Christmas to ya‘ all!
