Deep within a forest no one visited anymore, a small fairy knelt beneath a sorrowful pink glow.
The world around her was still beautiful… but its beauty was slowly fading.

In her hands, she held a glowing flower.
It was no ordinary bloom.
It was the last one.

Her mother once told her,
“When this flower disappears, everything we love will disappear with it.
Back then, she didn’t understand those words.
Now… she did.

The trees no longer sang.
The wind no longer whispered.
The other fairies had vanished one by one, each taking a piece of the light with them.

She gazed at the flower and saw her memories reflected within it
childhood laughter,
wings that once shimmered brighter,
and a forest that was once alive.

A warm tear fell onto the petals.
The flower glowed brighter, as if it were trying to fight back.

She whispered, her voice trembling,
“Please don’t leave me…I’m still here.
But magic, like dreams, does not last forever.

She knew the truth:
for the forest to live,
she must fade away.

With a soft smile through the pain,
she pressed the flower to her chest.

And in that moment
the entire forest lit up one final time.

Since that day,
those who pass near the forest say that if you listen closely,
you can hear a gentle whisper in the air:

“I did not disappear
I became the forest.
