Strange Arrival
3D Render by weiss21The theme was very broad; I remembered images I'd seen of enormous icebergs that had washed up in the bay of a small village in Greenland. They had really impressed me. So I tried to reproduce these images by adding a touch of magic, that moment of day when everything is blue and the Northern Lights arrive in the Nordic countries and there are those green lights in the sky. I tried to convey the sense of wonder of being faced with an almost unreal event. I created the image in Blender, downloading valuable contributions from Megascan and Sketchfab, and used a character created in Daz3D. A little final post-production was done in Photoshop.
I love everything about this... from the perspective to the lighting and the detail of the iceberg. Wonderful work.

This would work perfectly in a graphic novel or video game. Eeery, atmospheric, lots of story telling potential.

I'm guessing you didn't have a lot of difficulty locating fresh water in Greenland

a little post production? raw render human model and final render model don't even the same bro.it look like ai enhance photo.you should upload final raw render before post production. peace

Tue, Dec 23, 2025Hey, you're right, I changed the man several times. I didn't like the 3D man, so I redrew part of the man on the raw render directly in Photoshop. There are no other raw renders besides the one published. No AI was used in Photoshop.
