Futuristic Life Support Tree

Wherever it has cracked or fractured, advanced futuristic mechanisms have been used to reconnect and support it, ensuring that it does not break further and continues to stay alive.
This concept hits hard a tree on life support feels way too close to home.
I like how the tech isn't replacing it, just desperately trying to keep it breathing. Feels like a future where nature and machines are forced into the same body.
Funny thing is, I can also imagine a timeline where we end up building mechanical trees that do the same job smaller footprint, more oxygen, pure efficiency. But even then, this piece reminds me that were only copying what we already broke.
