Okay, so the closest I get to Japan is the sushi shelf at the quickie mart two blocks away.
But Google is pretty handy:
It turns out that" Shi'" is Japanese for death (wasn't that convenient that it sounds like "she"?) and the symbol on her forehead is its kanji character. I'm sure I misinterpreted everything and ordered a California Roll.
