This is a personal sci-fi horror concept inspired by the mood of 1990s conspiracy thrillers and the iconic TV series The X-Files.
The artwork depicts a secret alien laboratory hidden beyond human control or understanding. Inside this facility, abducted humans are subjected to invasive biomechanical experiments conducted by unknown extraterrestrial entities. Massive organic-mechanical machines dominate the space, operating with cold, surgical precision, while silent observers monitor the process from the darkness.
The environment was designed to feel clinical yet deeply unsettling — a blend of advanced alien technology, living organic structures, and sterile industrial architecture. Wet metallic surfaces, reflective glass, pulsating biological elements, and dim atmospheric lighting work together to create tension, fear, and mystery.
My goal was to balance cinematic storytelling with believable sci-fi realism, focusing on detailed materials, complex lighting, and a strong narrative mood rather than pure spectacle. The composition is meant to guide the viewer’s eye through the scene, gradually revealing the disturbing nature of the experiment.
This project is both a tribute to classic sci-fi horror aesthetics and an exploration of the darker, more terrifying possibilities of alien contact.
