Name That Song Feb 2026
3D Render by maru_berlinVery observant followers will notice some of the details (like that Annie by HeavieState3d from yesterday's portrait has another chance to shine).
I think that the title may be quite obvious, so I will try and not make it even easier with too many hints:
The song is 50 years old - so it’s not Girls Just Want To Have Fun.
The weekend is close and she has more than seven teeth, as one might mishear, if one had to listen to that song (or rather the entire album) on a car stereo and on an autroeverse tape during every friggin‘ 500 mile journey with the parents. (And yes, that is the elephant in the room, though the one in the picture is pink whereas mine just wanted to be deaf).
Luckily the band released over time and not counting solo projects around 100 songs in English plus some alternate versions in Spanish, French and German. So that’s a lot of lyrics I still know by heart.
(There is an interesting spoiler version of the song on my DA account...)
As some have guessed, January's song was "All By Myself" by Celine Dion

I'm Gonna Be (500 miles) by the Proclaimers (1988)?
Well anyway...cute pic! Thanks for the mention as always! Glad you're getting some good use out of Annie!

Thu, Feb 05Oh sorry, the 500 miles were just the time I had to listen to that darn tape... ONE tape for nearly six hours!!! When I was young, you either hated that band (me) or you loved them (my parents). Got me seriously thinking if I was really their son. But in fact, that band wrore history in more than one respect. And as I said, the song is from 1976.
I'm going with ABBA - Dancing Queen. And while my parents didn't listen to it, we could only receive two rock/top 40 stations where I grew up, so it played all-the-time. I still can't listen to them. Right or wrong, it's a great render, thanks for sharing.

I'm quite stumped. But I do think the picture could, in a stretch of imagination, fit with Helen Reddy's "Angie Baby".

Sat, Feb 07Thanks for taking part, didn't even know that song (though the best of all wives did): 2 years too early.

Sat, Feb 07And if only that bear was a duck, I could have guessed it was Rick Dees' "Disco Duck".
