Meditrina is a Roman goddess of healing, health, longevity and medicinal wine. Her name is derived from the Latin verb mederi, meaning "to heal" or "to cure." Meditrina was primarily celebrated during the Meditrinalia, held annually on October 11. This festival coincided with the end of the grape harvest and focused on the medicinal properties of wine.
