When a Character Learns New Expressions
3D Render by Digital Drapery CoSome characters don't need redesigning.
They need interpretation.
I've always noticed how a tiny shift in shadow around the eyes changes personality more than a morph slider ever could. Softer lips become kindness. Sharper liner becomes confidence. Warmer tones become memory.
So instead of painting makeup onto a texture, I built a way to *speak through it*.
This render uses the updated DD Makeup Editor PBR workflow for Genesis 9, where looks aren't applied, they're composed.
A base expression, then adjustment, then nuance.
Not replacement, not layering presets... more like tuning an instrument.
Same skin. Different person.
