"With each soft puff of smoke from her cigarette, Eliza drowns out her fears. The light barely touches her skin, just enough. She doesn't want to be saved. She waits with tense calm, turning the air into an uncertain territory.

Butterflies float nearby, drawn by the trace of a wound that has learned to become beautiful.

She stares ahead, gauging how much further she can fall without breaking. And yet, there is a sensuality in her stillness, a dangerous promise in the way she holds the cigarette: as if she knows that anyone who comes near will end up getting burned a little".
