Trilobite Concept (02) WIP
3D Render by SummonerSo finally the Trilobite is reaching the rig stage at least almost there. Texturing is almost done and then the big challenge will come to get that thing moving.
I still have no Idea where to start as it sure going to be allot of work ahead making all these parts move in a realistic way as much as this model has a stunning realistic aspect. The dolls are going to love this Alien Creature

Sat, Mar 14Lovely modelling but your surfaces are outstanding. Love the SSS. Well done!

Sat, Apr 04Thank you, the sss is such a thing in DS and poser, it can be a hard work with the lights to find a good balance, it can be quiet challenging. So end users will sure have to tweak a little here and there adjusting the strength of texture and sss to adapt it with there Environment, sure something for advanced users. And I have to say after many many renders that I believe that some experienced users can set it up way better then I did.
Looking forward to this addition...Hopefully plenty of bones in the tendrils for that fluidic bending...and wrapping..

Sat, Apr 04It is one of the most extreme rigs I ever made, the whole thing has about 700 bones and 2600 easy-pose controllers, allowing to change the length of each tentacle and bending quiet smoothly actually it reached the limit of possibilities.
actually it reached the limit of possibilities.
