yet nothing holds me, not a hand nor line.
I rise beyond the grasp of the divine,
too near to touch, too distant for their sight.
I am no prize, no vow, no destined claim;
I am the quiet breath that slips away,
the trace of warmth that never stays the same.
If they pursue, I drift beyond their sway;
