Nancy wasn't supposed to stand out tonight.
The room was full of voices, warm lights, and people pretending to listen to each other. But Nancy had something different - a quiet thought she refused to share.
A tiny secret.
Not dramatic.
Not life-changing.
Just the quiet joy of knowing she could become whoever she wanted, whenever she wanted.
A softer lipstick.
A sharper liner.
A hint of shimmer catching the light.
Small changes that nobody else notices -
but the artist always does.
