The Liquid Kiln
3D Render by StudioJannatA domestic oasis where geometry melts and nature glows. This piece is a reflection on the fluidity of ceramic forms within a digital dream. By combining hand-modeled lathe profiles with procedural fractal patterns, I wanted to explore how traditional pottery can 'evolve' when placed in a surrealist, light-filled environment.
Software: Autodesk 3ds Max 2024
Renderer: V-Ray (with Denoiser for silk-smooth finishes)
Modeling: Custom Lathe and Soft-Selection distortion for the central vessel.
Lighting: Volumetric purple light with a Cellular/Fractal opacity map to create organic shadows.
