Woe 2 the Worthless Shepherd
3D Render by xyer0"Pharaoh" means "the shepherd." The Egyptian pharaoh claimed to be the incarnation of Osiris, god of the dead, his firstborn. Why does the obelisk, the symbol of Osiris' potency (the stylized depiction of his erection), why does that structure stand at the city center or gate of almost every town or metropolis in the Western world? In ancient times, a totem was understood to proclaim the territorial dominion of the entity depicted thereby. Why did the celebrities and models of the West and Far East repeatedly pose for photographs covering or obscuring one eye, even as Osiris was blinded in his right eye? (Zechariah 11:17) The postmodern human is like an amnesiac with Alzheimer's: They have forgotten that they ever remembered. Still, within their DNA, they retain a primordial dread of the serpentine and reptilian. Who is sufficient for these things? The sword of the Spirit utterly divides between soul and spirit, between joints and marrow, between mind, will, and emotions. And all abominations shall be overcome by those who wield this blade in the Name of the King.
