My entry for the "Let's Get Weird Surreal 3D Render Contest"

“Life is Stillblurs the boundary between life and object. A still life scene becomes faintly animate, yet something feels unresolved. The pomegranate seeds, ancient symbols of resurrection, suggesting rebirth, while the spilled liquid alludes to a failed attempt to restore life, leaving the result suspended in an uneasy state between life and stillness.

Cinema 4D was the primary software used for scene creation and rendering, with Octane Render handling the final output. The main compositional elements: such as the vase, cups, and teapot, were modeled in Nomad Sculpt, where human features were integrated using assets from Daz3D. Texturing for these objects was completed in Substance Painter to achieve realistic skin details. Additional textures throughout the scene combine resources from Greyscalegorilla with custom-made materials to create a more personalised look. The cloth simulation was created in Marvelous Designer for greater control and efficiency(much quicker). Then the post work was done in affinity photo for colour correction.
