They are experimental replicants...made to share sensory information with each other. They are combat/infiltration models and have infiltrated a Yakuza gang called Kurotsura-gumi — the Black Mask Syndicate.

What he sees, she carries.
What they mean by it — that belongs to each of them alone.
The instrument looks for an edge.
