As I finish up on Blade Runner Terminal- I'm working on a new story and developing the characters. These are villains...

They are experimental replicants...made to share sensory information with each other. They are combat/infiltration models and have infiltrated a Yakuza gang called Kurotsura-gumi — the Black Mask Syndicate.

THE HAZAMA TWINS

Hazama — the space between.
Neither here nor there.
The threshold with no other side.

Rei and Jin. Sister and brother.
One mind. Two bodies. One file.

She works close.
Knives. Warmth. The void that lets you in.

He holds the distance.
Tactical. Still. Humanity at the end of a scope.

What she feels, he knows.
What he sees, she carries.
What they mean by it — that belongs to each of them alone.

The instrument looks for an edge.
There isn't one.

Hazama.
The interval the machine can't measure.
The question that was never meant to close.
