Test of Zakiel29's The Xeno-Husk: Symbiotic Suit for Genesis 9, Renderosity and possibly later on Renderhub.
Though in my mind a more a sci-fi armour, it made its way into the middle ages, along with Tower Ruins, which I found in today's easter egg and combined with Linday's Horse armour for the Daz Horse 2.

I truly love the twist you gave to this set-it was unexpected, but I absolutely adore it!
Originally, I conceptualized the outfit as something demonic (especially since it's paired with some wings I'll be releasing soon), but during the process, it evolved into this pseudo-sci-fi futuristic design.
However, in this image, you stripped away both concepts-the demonic and the futuristic-and placed it on a character that feels very human (with her own weaknesses), nothing supernatural, and it works perfectly. In fact, it reminds me a lot of the Dragonplate armor from Skyrim, which had that same organic feel.
