Louise on the Starship Antares Viewing a Nebula
3D Render by phantom11After settling in on Far-Reach Station, Louise takes her first trip out on the starship Antares to study a nearby nebula.
Nice composition, especially for the first picture.
If I may make a remark (please no offense), I find the image even more attractive with a portrait format which avoids the white wall behind the character and refocuses attention on the character without being distracted by other details. Just my 2 cents...

Sat, Apr 11Thanks! If I'm honest, I like the close in image better, as well. It was an "alternate"camera I had set up as an after thought, but I liked it enough to do the render. I'm glad I posted it!

In the first image, Louise has a small place in the picture and she has to face the immensity of the universe she contemplates.
In the second image, Louise occupies a more important place because it is the emotion that this vision of the universe gives her that is important. In particular, there is a reflection in Louise's eyes that gives her life in relation to what she contemplates.
In an image, sometimes a small detail makes a big difference.
