Next to her, Jiwon sits in the sand with the expression of someone who has already accepted defeat.
His favorite beach chair is no longer his.
The panda has claimed it without hesitation.
The panda stretches out comfortably, waving its paws as the butterflies flutter around it, completely absorbed in its own fun.
Jiwon watches the scene with a tired stare, as if the universe had personally decided to test his patience today.
Sori tries not to laugh.
She loves how easily the panda managed to take over the one spot her brother refuses to share with anyone.
Every time Jiwon sighs, she enjoys the moment a little more.
The panda, fully settled into its new throne, keeps playing with the butterflies as if the beach belongs to him alone.
And with the sun warming the sand and the breeze moving gently across the shore, Sori lets herself enjoy the absurdity of it all.
