Laura Tombs Utah Mine Explorer
3D Render by signshopHello everyone,
I’ve been working on this latest video on and off over the past few weeks. While I originally planned to include more AI-generated video cut scenes throughout, that didn’t quite eventuate, as the AI didn’t always give me the usable results I was looking for on my limited plan. That said, the few AI video scenes that did make it in, although very brief, still turned out quite well, and it’s clear this technology will only continue to improve. There’s definitely still a lot for me to learn in this area so I can get closer to a better generation.
One valuable lesson I took away from this project is to always record your environmental lighting settings when you adjust them for a specific look. I later wanted to insert some additional footage into an already finished section and ended up spending far too long trying to match the lighting perfectly. Live and learn!
Still thoroughly enjoying the workflow of...game play, adding extra lighting from within World Editor, incorporating Daz Studio characters into the scene with some post work in Photoshop and AI video cut scenes on occasion.....this is my jam.
The Story:
In this episode, Laura Tombs, the mine’s youngest and most dedicated caretaker, takes on the responsibility of maintaining and lighting the Utah Mines.
As the tourist season approaches, she works against time to install a new lighting system, preparing the tunnels for Offroad 4x4 clubs eager to test their skill and luck deep underground.
But these mines hold more than secrets.
Deep beneath the Utah Mines, a whispered legend still lingers, something that reveals itself only to the chosen.
As the lights come on and the tunnels awaken, Laura begins to uncover signs that the stories may be more than myth.
Will Laura Tombs uncover the truth buried beneath the rock…
or has the mine been waiting for her all along?
Thank you for stopping by.

Yay! I found you over here at Renderhub. This is Kirsten by the way. I am so glad to see your art over here. I love what you are doing with the world editor and Daz. I haven't been over on YouTube much lately. I scheduled a couple of videos to release over the last two weeks, but haven't been on in person. I need to go check out your newest video soon

Fri, May 15Hey Kirsten, awesome to hear from you! Although, judging by the name, I never would have guessed it was you... lol. I’ve also had a few comments from Thomas (Junk) as well. It’s always a great feeling hearing from people you’ve connected with on other forums over the years.
Life has a habit of getting busy, and for me, the artwork usually takes a back seat until things settle down and there’s time to get back into it again. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment, it’s genuinely appreciated.
