Threshold is the second installment in the Blade Runner: 808state comic series — set in the rain-soaked margins of a city that runs on controlled visibility. The Kurotsura-gumi own three vertical layers of this district. Ground trade. Mid-level enforcement. Upper connections no one names out loud. The replicants work the middle tier — present enough to be a warning, disposable enough that losing one is just overhead.
