HERZLOS
Manchmal kann es sich anfühlen, als wäre das Herz einfach aus der Brust gerissen worden während sich ein leise aufsteigendes Grauen ausbreitet. Kaum greifbar und doch da, als würde der Moment selbst noch nach einer Erklärung suchen, die nicht kommt. Wie konnte das passieren, fragt man sich. Und während man noch Antworten sucht, drängen sich diese unaufhaltbar auf. Vielleicht zu viel Vertrauen, vielleicht Grenzen, die nie da waren oder längst verschwunden sind. Man hat nicht genug auf sich geachtet, an das Gute geglaubt, nichts Böses vermutet, und irgendwo dazwischen ist etwas verrutscht. Leise, kaum spürbar, bis es zu spät war.
Eine Narbe auf der Brust, überdeckt mit fremdartigen Bildern, damit man nicht vergisst. Leise raunt sie, während man sich in dem Kreis wiederfindet, der einst als Schutzraum gedacht war. Zwischen Begreifen und Nicht-Begreifen, als hätte man es sehen können oder vielleicht nicht sehen wollen. Dieses leise Grauen bleibt, steigt weiter, ohne Form, ohne Stimme. Und während man dort steht, hält man dieses Herz in der Hand, noch warm, noch lebendig, und fragt sich, ob es je zurückkommt. Oder bleibt es genau dort, außerhalb von allem, was einst war, als stille Antwort auf eine Frage, die nie ganz gestellt wurde.

HEARTLESS
Sometimes it can feel as if the heart has simply been torn from the chest, while a quiet, rising sense of dread begins to spread. Hardly tangible, yet undeniably there, as if the moment itself were still searching for an explanation that never comes. How could this happen, one wonders. And while searching for answers, they begin to surface on their own, impossible to hold back. Perhaps too much trust, perhaps boundaries that were never there, or long since gone. Not enough attention paid to oneself, believing in the good, suspecting nothing harmful, and somewhere in between, something shifted. Quietly, almost unnoticed, until it was too late.
A scar on the chest, covered with unfamiliar images, so it won’t be forgotten. It whispers softly while one finds oneself within the very circle that was once meant as protection. Between understanding and not understanding, as if it might have been seen, or perhaps not wanted to be seen. That quiet dread remains, continues to rise, without form, without a voice. And while standing there, holding this heart in one’s hand, still warm, still alive, one wonders whether it will ever return. Or does it remain exactly there, outside of everything that once was, as a silent answer to a question that was never fully asked.
