He was across the street. Kurotsura. The makeup mask — worn like it was nothing. Like it wasn't a declaration. Eyes that moved without his head moving — the giveaway, if you were patient enough to wait for it.
She was patient enough.
Gaff used to say the city fixes itself if you watch long enough. What he meant was: patterns surface. You don't find them.
They find you.

This is going as well as hoped 808. The story's prose is crisp, as it should be for this type of work, and keeps you focused. The scenes are well-crafted and have the signature 'BR' immersive deep palette we all remember and admire. The canonical references, like Gaff, add nice little anchors.

Fri, May 22Thank you! I'm really glad you think so- I'm hoping to make it feel like it's not just fan fiction, but can stand on it's own even though it's in the BR world. Gaff actually will be factoring in this story in some cool ways that I'm excited to share. I hope to have part 3 finished by the end of this weekend. Getting close!
