You Don't Find Them They Find You
3D Render by 808stateBlade Runner: Threshold — "Kurotsura Territory" A Repdetec Voss Story | 808state.digital 2026
She'd been watching him for two days.
Tea going cold. Counter sticky with something she'd stopped noticing. The market loud enough to disappear into if you knew how to stand still.
He was across the street. Kurotsura. The makeup mask — worn like it was nothing. Like it wasn't a declaration. Eyes that moved without his head moving — the giveaway, if you were patient enough to wait for it.
She was patient enough.
Gaff used to say the city fixes itself if you watch long enough. What he meant was: patterns surface. You don't find them.
They find you.

This is going as well as hoped 808. The story's prose is crisp, as it should be for this type of work, and keeps you focused. The scenes are well-crafted and have the signature 'BR' immersive deep palette we all remember and admire. The canonical references, like Gaff, add nice little anchors.

Fri, May 22Thank you! I'm really glad you think so- I'm hoping to make it feel like it's not just fan fiction, but can stand on it's own even though it's in the BR world. Gaff actually will be factoring in this story in some cool ways that I'm excited to share. I hope to have part 3 finished by the end of this weekend. Getting close!
I'm enjoying the story! hahaha
But no! This woman... this woman isn't one step ahead... Too caught up in things that aren't helping her move forward
Lady!! Wake up!!

Sun, Jun 07Thanks so much for spending time with this! Think of her less like a normal officer and more like intelligence. She has to collect proof of things before she strikes. Thanks again for all the awards- very generous of you my friend!
