Nem #485 - Trascender III Remake 2026
3D Render by NemmeseaThese piece revisits an original render created in 2021 and its second version from 2022. I wanted to bring both of them back using my current skills, my updated workflow, and my present hardware, applying all my evolution while keeping my essence intact. Each version is a clear example of how my work has adapted and grown over time.
Nem is one of my main characters, together with Itsuka. Both are highly symbolic and very precious to me. Nem carries my pseudonym and has been evolving for many years, becoming a reflection of different stages of my life and my inner world.
With this render, I wanted to express a quiet corner, a small refuge of peace, and a sense of transcending through time. Nothing truly remains static, no matter how fixed the present may feel in our daily lives. Every present moment holds both past and future inside itself. “Trascendercaptures that stillness of the present, apparently immovable, yet essential, because without it our lives would not exist as they are. It also represents that pause we sometimes need, a pause that feels almost eternal, but is in fact a reminder of our own mortality and fragility, and of how necessary that stillness is. Just like falling into the abyss in order to be reborn again, like spring.
-------
Technically, the project is based on Genesis 8 Female, rendered in DAZ Studio at 8K resolution (later downscaled to 3K for web presentation). I always export in PNG to preserve maximum quality.
All materials, shaders, and lighting setups follow the same workflow as my previous works.
--------
Post‑production was done entirely by hand, using Photoshop, my Wacom tablet, and my personal library of brushes. No AI tools were used at any stage of the retouching process. For transparency, on the rare occasions when I do use AI in my images, I always mark the AI checkbox accordingly. This one is fully handcrafted.
My editing process included backlight sculpting, soft contrast control, curve adjustments, tonal balancing, selective color correction, subtle chromatic aberration for atmosphere, edge refinement, micro‑texture enhancement, and light effects to create a static, immersive, and timeless mood.
"When I retouch, I treat the image as a flat drawing. Volume emerges later through light, contrast, and microdetail. This approach allows me to correct imperfections without losing the natural structure of the render".
-------------------
Inspirated by:
Black Dahlia and Lady of the Lake
"Wind, earth, water and fire. Be free."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------!!
Programs & Materials:
-DAZ3D,
-Photoshop, Adobe Substance 3D Painter
-Wacom Intous Pro
---
I hope that like it!
Thanks so much for see me! ^.^
