... So yesterday I finally got DS6 (6.25.2026.14219) to finally work properly without constantly crashing on loading... which I was really pleased about, as I have been wanting to test this versions capability with my new Nvidia 5060 TI (16GB) which is now paired with my Nvidia 3090 TI (24GB).
As DS6 is the only version of Daz Studio to currently work with 5000 series Nvidia graphic cards...
TIP: I was getting 'jagged edges' on the outer edges of all Genesis figures... so after an entire day of research and fiddling with settings I was defeated. When I decided to 'Restore Factory Defaults' on the 'Interface' section in the Preferences and lo and behold it finally did the trick... which I am ecstatic about as it means that 'store promo' day will not be so long and time consuming.
... and yes it still means that my 24GB card is still doing the heavy lifting so to speak (scene memory wise)... but the combined usage of both of my high end cards is significantly going to help get products onto my Renderhub store in less time... which is win win for me
This piece rendered in about 6 minutes... it is not the most complex piece, so I will be further testing today with better scenes.
