Like this second (?) Cyber Monk image. A good programme to use for special effects is Boris FX Optics. Once you load an effect into your image this effect has a "life": a choice of about 20-50 increments in which the effect changes, without the fuss you get in DAZ. In your image this would allow for a small sphere to a large effect of that blue magic.
Apart from posing and choosing the right moment of your effect, the programme offers a gazillion of other effects (lighting, glow, shadows and so forth).

Mon, Jun 08Thank you for your reply and software recomendation, Maru. Yes, boris and few other plugins have awesome effects with Adobe products. I have a free affinity studio which is not compatible with boris. However, it's ok for me to use free software. I'd love to put more effort in post work but due to issues with my eyes i cannot work much on my laptop

Mon, Jun 08Optics works as a standalone, too, you don't need Photoshop - Affinity should to the trick, too, since you can open layers (though I don't know if they offer a plugin). Just FYI.

Mon, Jun 08no, they don't offer a plug in for boris. stand alone is a bit too pricey for me right now, but i keep an eye on it for the future
Turned out pretty darn cool to me. It's almost like I can't focus on the powers because the Monk, his gaze, the powers that are affecting us as the viewer all come together excellently. The effect is perfect to me!

Tue, Jun 16You are always so kind to me, Tom i'm perhaps my worst critic. I wish that i can afford boris or other effects like vdb from daz store. My laptop is not a high end one and it einher crashes or takes long to render producing low quality images. I used herein some free light effects on black background wich are easy to use in affinity studio. They look better than some brushes that i used first.

Tue, Jun 16My laptop has a 8GB RTX 4060 in it and I always get frustrated that I can't do larger scenes in it.
But, I found that Daz Studio 6 seems to use less VRAM allowing me to do the scenes I once could not do. As a test, I had loaded some older scenes and I was impressed. Seems to work much better in that respect, not perfect but better. Although I do try to keep texture sizes to their smallest often too when using the laptop.
Either way your image turned out fantastic!

I agree 100% with Thomas about the Monk's gaze capturing my focus. The fx become completely secondary because you captured the gaze and the moment so perfectly, my friend. The details you have in the scene are amazing. Love this!
