well we got amber in the studio. i just logged in today and seen CGSerpent closed up shop. he's moving on. i wish him well, ive been dazzing for roughly 3 years and after a while all characters start to look the same from some vendors, especially in the main daz store, but CGS characters had a lot of different looks. i never owned one until the end when he decided to make all his stuff free. ive always wanted the Brandy character but never got around to buy it. i was wanting to get the same skin he used, for some reason i have to use the same stuff used in the promos. when i seen it was free, i decided on im gonna get the skin.

i ended up making a render of brandy and decided i was going to post it here kind of like a thank you to the creators. then realized over the years ive used a lot of free stuff so im going to try to post more renders of characters and the free stuff i got along the way just to sort of say thank you to the creators.

i scooped up a few before they were gone. my regret was waiting too long to make an actual purchase to support them. ive wanted the brandy character for a long time but never bought it because i didnt have the textures used in the render, its a quirk with me.

thats why i started to render scenes and post them here, as a small way to say thank you for giving them for free in the end and just bringing impeccable products in to the community. after a while most characters all start having the same look, its nice to see something different, they brought that difference

Re; The same look; yes, I notice this among creators -- variations on a face. Especially in the early days of G9, it seemed that every character was a clone of V9....who, while quirky and pretty enough in her own way, doesn't seem to me that a clone of V9 is the flex a character creator thinks it is. I've seen the textures and wraps and maps and everything, and honestly I don't think I could even create a character at all, so that kinda puts me below the bar in terms of critique, but I still notice.

Thank you again for sharing this work. It is a fitting tribute to a CC who was, by your account (and, evidently, by your artwork), above and beyond the norm.
