Synthetic Desire
3D Render by CarnalStudioFor this piece, I wanted to explore the idea of a future where the line between human and machine has become almost impossible to distinguish. I created a cybernetically enhanced woman aboard a futuristic spacecraft, combining organic beauty with exposed mechanical components to emphasize both her humanity and her artificial nature.
My goal was to contrast soft skin, expressive features, and a confident pose against the cold industrial environment and visible cybernetic augmentations. The bright pink synthetic arm was intentionally used as a focal point, helping to break up the metallic color palette while drawing attention to the character herself.
Through lighting, depth of field, and composition, I wanted to create a scene that feels both futuristic and personal—a glimpse into a world where technology is no longer separate from humanity, but an extension of it. The result is a character who exists somewhere between flesh and steel, strength and elegance, machine and human.
