They are stylish, efficient and they do whatever they want <3
This week they commited a heist at the Jewel Exposition and ... They got caught ?! Weird, they probably have something in mind.
Loved by the public and hated by the police, they don't care.
Here's what the media has to say about the robbery:
VELORIAN DAILY REPORT
Sector 9, Coreline City
Panic and glitter erupted last night at the prestigious Velorian Jewel Exposition when two highly coordinated female suspects stormed the event in what witnesses are calling “the most fabulous robbery in recent memory.
The pair, believed to be the infamous cyber-criminal duo known as The Twin Babes, made off with two ultra-rare Blue Nova diamond rings and the legendary Heart of Selene, a pink heart-shaped diamond necklace with matching earrings valued at over ₡4.8 million credits.
Eyewitnesses report the suspects entered without warning, one with bright pink hair and the other with electric blue hair, before smashing through the exhibit’s reinforced security glass using ONLY their fists.
“It sparkled,said one stunned guest. “I couldn’t tell if I was being robbed or watching performance art.
Security drones were disabled in under thirty seconds. Several guards claim the suspects moved with “unnatural speed,reinforcing long-standing rumors that the duo are illegally cybernetically enhanced.
In an even stranger twist, surveillance footage shows the pair pausing during their escape to pet a local street dog for approximately seven seconds before vanishing into with a stolen police car
“The dog appeared extremely pleased,said Officer Renn Talvik.
Authorities are urging civilians to remain alert. The Twin Babes are considered highly dangerous, highly unpredictable, and, according to one detective, “way too stylish for their own good.
A city-wide manhunt is now underway. Citizens with information are advised to contact the Galactic Authority immediately and under no circumstances attempt to confront the suspects.
The dog has not yet been located for questioning.

Now for the serious part.
What started as a fun project for the contest turned into a whole novel in my head. I really wanted to tell a story with my submission and I hope you like it
I wanted for them to look artificial but delicate in a cyberpunk world. I took inspiration from broken porcelain dolls for their robotic parts. I also was very inspired by Chinese fashion influencers for their aesthetic.
All of their textures are hand drawn in Substance Painter, the clothes are made with Marvelous Designer and everything is rendered inBlender. I used Genesis 9 mesh for the geometry but the characters are one of kind ( well two of a kind in this instance).
I had a lot of fun adding as much details as I could, like, the lipstick on the cigarette's butts, writting fake articles about the case ect...
Most of the pictures on the board are renders I made on a seperate scene, the rest are from bank images that I photshoped to fit the universe.
I made the environment using Daz studio paid assets as well as items from Blenderkit.
My submission is the render with a bit of bloom from the compositor built withing Blender.
