Casio FZ1 Digital Sampler DAZ 3D Model
"The Casio FZ-1 Digital sampler"
"My Story about the Casio FZ-1"
When you say Casio, you immediately think of calculators and watches. But Casio did much more! I used to work at my parents' toy store and we started selling toy keyboards from the Casio brand. We got the full catalog to order and saw that they also had a professional line in heavier types. For example, I was already busy building my studio at that time. Step by step, more and more equipment came into the house, such as the Casio FZ-1. After the purchase I connected the FZ-1 with MIDI cables and so I controlled the FZ-1 with sequencer software "Voyetra Plus" together with the Sound Blaster II Pro.
In the meantime I had also bought a memory expansion of 1MB!!! It was a big investment because at the time memory was almost unaffordable but I could get it at a big discount from the importer. For example, the FZ-1 had a total of 2 MB of sample time of almost 2 minutes at 38 kHz. In this same period the Roland W30 was popular, but the Casio FZ-1 could do much more in sample quality, except that the FZ-1 had no onboard sequencer.
This keyboard has meant a lot to me from the period when I started producing house music in the 90s. I also managed to get my music on various record labels and so my music career was born.
All shapes are created in basic parts and modeled in Bryce with the so-called traditional boolean technique. All text and indicators are made in Photoshop. After this whole process I decided to make it available for Daz Studio as well.
