Korg Kaossilator & Mini Kp 3D Model
"Korg Kaossilator & Mini KP"
I decided to build the Korg Kaossilator Dynamic Phrase Synthesizer and the Korg Kaoss Pad Mini-KP Dynamic Effect Processor Synthesizer as 3D models. I actually bought this about 20 years ago at my favorite music shop. I have used these two little funny devils a lot for live DJing but also created samples for my various music projects.
All parts were made from scratch in Vue Studio and I converted everything to OBJ format so that I could finish everything in Daz Studio. Textures are self-made and others are Daz shaders to get everything correct.
About the Kaossilator:
A synthesizer that lets you perform and create multi-layered music in any style with just the touch of a finger. The Kaossilator series was the forerunner of unique instruments that made it easy for anyone to play musical melodies and phrases. Released in 2010, the KAOSSILATOR PRO was an updated model with a wide variety of sounds and loop-recording functionality, making it not only a live performance instrument but also a track creation tool.
About the KAOSS PAD:
Real-time effects device/sampler with direct control of groundbreaking effects.
The KAOSS PAD series of effects units is famous for its intuitive touchpad controls. Released in 2006, the flagship KP3 was highly regarded by musicians and DJs around the world for its powerful, instantly accessible effects programs and wealth of sampling functionality. The sounds that drive electronic music and the EDM movement and the effects to create them have evolved significantly over the past seven years.
The effect combinations that have become a staple in countless genres and applications thanks to the KP3 have been taken to the next level with the new KP3+. The KP3+ is a real-time effects device that will produce the sounds of contemporary electronics - and beyond.
