Process:
All parts are built with combined 3d tools like Bryce, Vue and Daz Studio. Then I transferred all parts in OBJ and put the model together in Daz Studio. The textures are made in Photoshop and then transferred to all parts in Daz Studio.
About:
The LILYGO T-Deck Plus is a portable, open-source LocalMesh communication device specifically designed for off-grid communication via Meshtastic or MeshCore. In terms of appearance, the device strongly resembles a classic BlackBerry. Thanks to its built-in LoRa radio, physical QWERTY keyboard, display, and GPS module, it functions as a fully standalone device, eliminating the need for a connected smartphone to send messages.
MeshCore is an open protocol for decentralized mesh networks that operates using LoRa (Long Range) radios.
Here are the key features:
- No internet required: You can send short text messages without Wi-Fi, a mobile network, or a SIM card.
- Operates via 'hops': Devices (nodes) pass messages along to one another like a chain. Each device thus acts as a relay for the rest of the network.
- Unlicensed frequency: In Europe, it operates on the license-free 868 MHz band.
- Energy-efficient: Devices consume very little power and can run on battery for days or even weeks.
- Smart routing: MeshCore uses path discovery to efficiently find the best route for a message, rather than flooding the network.
