Smart Content Finder for Daz Studio
Stop losing time searching for the content you already loaded.
Smart Content Finder is a Daz Studio workflow plugin made to solve one of the most frustrating parts of working with a large content library: finding where an item, figure, pose, material, hair, clothing piece, expression, shape, or accessory came from after it is already in your scene.
If you have ever loaded a figure, added hair, clothing, materials, poses, and expressions, then later wondered "Where is that file again?", this plugin is made for you.
Smart Content Finder adds a dockable pane directly inside Daz Studio. It watches your scene, organizes loaded content into useful tabs, shows icons where possible, and helps you jump back to the correct Content Library folder quickly.
Instead of digging through folder after folder, you can select an item and go straight to its location.
Script Version Included
Smart Content Finder also includes a script version, so users can still access the core idea in script form. However, the best everyday experience is with the full DLL plugin because it lives directly inside Daz Studio as a dockable pane, updates while you work, and feels much smoother for regular use.

Workflow
Open the Smart Content Finder pane inside Daz Studio.

Select an item and press Go to jump to its folder in the Content Library.
You can also use bookmarks and custom tabs to keep your favorite folders close.
Important Notes
Smart Content Finder does not delete or move your content files.
It is a workflow tool that helps locate and organize content that is already installed in your mapped Daz Studio libraries.
Some third-party products may use unusual folder structures, but the plugin includes manual location tools and caching to help with those cases.
