Dino Spinosaurus 3D Model

Spinosaurus was a giant theropod that could grow up to 18 m long, about 6 m tall (to the sail) and weigh up to 7–9 tons. The Spinosaurus skull was 165 cm long with one hundred straight, pointed teeth approximately 19 cm long.Spinosaurus' distinctive feature was its protruding spine, about 2 m long, and a sail covered in skin. Beneath this tough, tough skin were blood vessels that helped regulate the Spinosaurus' body temperature and attract females during mating season, as the sail is thought to have changed color like a chameleon.Spinosaurus also had nostrils that were not located at the tip of its snout like most theropods, but rather near its eyes, allowing it to breathe at the surface of the water like crocodiles.Spinosaurus lived in North Africa, primarily Egypt and Morocco. Two species of Spinosaurus are known: Spinosaurus aegyptiacus from Egypt and Spinosaurus marocconus from Morocco. The Egyptian Spinosaurus was larger than the Moroccan Spinosaurus. Spinosaurus lived in floodplains near rivers. Scientists believe that this dinosaur was some kind of aquatic dinosaur. That means Spinosaurus was most likely a good swimmer. Spinosaurus didn't live entirely off other dinosaurs, as they, like other Spinosaurids, were fish-eaters. Spinosaurus could have hunted river fish like Onchopristis and Mawsonia, which were a good source of protein for a dinosaur of this size. It's also possible that Spinosaurus also hunted herbivorous dinosaurs like Ouranosaurus, Lurdusaurus, or sauropods like Aegyptosaurus. Spinosaurus' relatively weak jaws and teeth that were not suited for tearing through dense meat lead paleontologists to believe that Spinosaurus didn't prey on large dinosaurs or perhaps only on their carcasses. Spinosaurus is also known to have happily devoured pterosaurids like Azhdarchidae.
