Laser Turret or Guard Gun Duck 3D Model
A laser turret or defensive firing mount that fires thin beams of energy, plasma, or similar projectiles from a flat muzzle. A traverse mechanism is located underneath the base protective housing, allowing the gun to rotate horizontally. For vertical traverse, a cylindrical mechanism beneath the firing turret raises and lowers the rear of the gun.
Vision is provided by two types of visual systems. The first is a large spherical object or eye, through which manual control is performed by a human operator. If this "eye" is damaged, red sensors are automatically activated, operating using a snake-eye sensor or temperature and electromagnetic target detection.
The "eye" itself is protected by an armored "flower" or a tall shield.
The laser cannon is powered by an underground energy source, so the enemy won't see the wires. To destroy the power supply, the enemy would have to find a bunker more than 30 meters deep. It contains a nuclear engine, which, by standard, lasts for a hundred years.
The common people call this turret a "duck" due to its corresponding resemblance to a bird. :D
