Yamato class was a battleship designed and used by the Japanese empire during the second world war, the ship costruction started during 1937, was deployed during 1941 after Pearl Harbor attack and was finally destroyed during the battle of Okinawa by a massive bombing. After the Japan retreat of the League Of Nations during 1934 the Yamato class entered in design as a heavy battleship secret project, designed to fight multiple enemies at time, recognizing the Japanese industrial disadvantage compared with the United States.
