Curtain Eyelet Rings 3D Model
Curtain Eyelet Rings designed using the Skeleton Design methodology in Autodesk Inventor, showcasing a parametric workflow from initial sketch to final assembly. The design process begins with a base sketch containing key dimensions and constraints that drive all subsequent components. The ring system consists of two main parts: a decorative flange and an interlocking ring with precision snap-fit features that press together securely without tools or sewing. The assembled unit creates a clean, professional finish while allowing smooth curtain rod movement. The Skeleton Design approach ensures all components maintain precise relationships, enabling quick size adjustments and customization for different curtain thicknesses and rod diameters. This method streamlines production by generating manufacturing-ready parts from a single parametric source, ideal for both residential and commercial curtain hardware applications.
PRINT PARAMETERS
For the base, the rings are printed first in one color and, without removing them from the print bed, the base is printed directly over them using a second color. This technique ensures precise integration between both parts. The Cura files and G-code are configured to print 5 pieces per part, optimizing the production process.
