Please also look at the Unit 501 Apartment Set for the wider scene. Another amazing piece and well put together. The bathroom felt a bit small - but it is an apartment so not unusual. The small bedroom is great also and just want was needed for a study emote

Unit 501: Master Bedroom

Please also look at the Unit 501 Apartment Set for the wider scene. This is another strong room, and the amount of material included (the small bathroom as well) is very welcome. The only real drawback is the lack of curtains. That feels like a significant omission, not just for the bedroom but for the bathroom too. I ended up pulling curtains from another set, which was fine for me, though I imagine some people might be caught off guard by needing to do that.

Unit 501: Living Room

Please also look at the Unit 501 Apartment Set for the wider scene. I like this one a lot. The layout is well thought out. The furniture is a bit plain, though that suited what I needed since I was planning to mix it with other sets to get a specific mood. The lighting in Daz2025 (alpha) did not play nicely. The flat Ghost Light produced strong white hotspots. Turning it off and using a shaped light fixed it, even with the free lighting patch that is available. I would have liked the exterior environment you used in the promo images, or at least a matching backdrop. I could not find anything like that included. Overall it is a lovely piece and works very well as a base for kit bashing.

Unit 501: Kitchen

Please also look at the Unit 501 Apartment Set for the broader environment. The kitchen here is quite good. The layout works well and feels practical. The chairs are the only odd point. The bases look too long which gives them a slightly awkward shape. There is also no oven and no obvious spot for one. You can shift the side cupboards across which lets you place one in, but it would have been nicer if that was already considered in the design.

Unit 501 Apartment Set

I really do like this set. It has been useful for mixing with other packs to build some very interesting spaces. It did take a bit of effort to sort out though. The overlapping walls floors and roofs were awkward to untangle, and changing materials can be limiting. A lot of the wall pieces are single element, so you cannot easily have one room with a wallpaper look and another room with a different finish. The wall edges also distort textures in a way that looks a bit messy. A proper texture template for the parts would help a lot.

Even with those quirks, the set still feels worth it. Once you get past the clean up work, it becomes a very good base kit, and for the price it felt like a genuine bargain.
