Botanical Flower Soap Casting Mold - Multi-Part System 3D Model
Create beautiful, professional-grade botanical soaps with this highly detailed Floral Pattern Soap Mold. Designed as a precise multi-part system, this asset features built-in registration keys (alignment pegs) to ensure a perfect fit every time.
Whether you are 3D printing a master to cast silicone or CNC machining a durable production mold, this file provides the perfect foundation for your soap-making or crafting business.
Key Features:
Intricate Floral Design: Features a beautifully embossed/debossed flower and leaf pattern that transfers cleanly to the final product.
Multi-Part System: Includes a mold frame and patterned inserts with precise registration pegs for accurate alignment and easy demolding.
NURBS Precision: Created in Plasticity, ensuring flawless, mathematically perfect curves (no low-poly faceting) when using the STEP file for CNC machining.
Versatile Application: Ideal for making cold-process soap, melt-and-pour soap, bath bombs, solid lotion bars, or even resin crafts.
Included File Formats:
STL: High-resolution mesh, ready for immediate 3D printing.
OBJ: Standard format compatible with most 3D software for rendering or modification.
STEP / STP: Solid CAD file, perfect for CNC toolpath generation or parametric editing.
Plasticity: The original source file, allowing you to easily tweak the design if you use Plasticity 3D.
Settings and Manufacturing Instructions
For FDM / Resin 3D Printing:
Print Orientation: Print all parts flat on the build plate with the patterned details facing upwards.
Supports: No supports are required if printed in the correct flat orientation.
Layer Height: 0.12mm to 0.16mm is highly recommended. A finer layer height ensures the intricate floral details and smooth curves are captured perfectly, reducing the need for post-sanding.
Infill: 20% - 30% (Grid or Cubic) for a strong mold base that can withstand pressure.
Material: * PLA / PETG: Use these if you are printing a "Master" to cast a flexible silicone mold over it.
TPU (Flexible): If you intend to pour soap directly into the 3D printed mold, flexible filament is highly recommended to easily pop the cured soap out without damaging the delicate flower petals.
For CNC Machining:
Software: Import the provided .STEP file into your CAM software (like Fusion 360 or Mastercam) for perfect, faceted-free toolpaths.
Tooling: Use a standard flat end-mill for clearing out the main pocket, and a small Ball-Nose end-mill (e.g., 1mm or 2mm) for the detailed 3D finishing pass on the floral pattern.
Material: Tooling board (Renshape), Delrin (POM), or Aluminum are excellent choices for creating a durable, long-lasting production mold.
