Settings and Manufacturing Instructions
This model is optimized for quick and easy printing using FDM or SLA/Resin printers.
Print Orientation: Place the flat bottom of the coaster and the bottom of the holder directly on the build plate.
Supports: NO SUPPORTS REQUIRED (Print-in-place).
Layer Height: 0.16mm to 0.20mm (Drop down to 0.12mm if you want exceptionally smooth curves on the top texture).
Infill: 15% - 20% (Grid or Gyroid patterns work perfectly).
Walls/Perimeters: Minimum of 3 walls for structural durability.
Recommended Materials: * PLA / PETG: Highly recommended. (Note: PETG is preferable if the coasters will frequently be used for very hot drinks).
TPU (Flexible): A fantastic choice if you want the coaster to be naturally anti-slip and absorb the impact of setting down a heavy glass.
Post-Processing Tip: For rigid materials (PLA/PETG), consider attaching thin foam stickers, rubber pads, or a thin layer of cork underneath the printed coasters to prevent them from sliding on smooth surfaces like glass tables.
