Guyver is a 1991 American fantasy action film produced by New Line Cinema in association with Shochiku Films. The film is based on the manga of the same name by Yoshiki Takaya.
The film tells the story of Sean Barker, a young guy who finds an alien mechanism called "The Device", which turns Barker into a hybrid alien super-soldier - "Guyver". Barker learns that the large corporation Kronos is hunting for the device and soon learns that the corporation's employees are not human at all.
A sequel followed in 1994, entitled Guyver: Dark Hero.
