Yasusuke Sawamura [ja] ( )is an NPC in Rise of the Ronin (RotR). Yasusuke Sawamura is a part of the No Faction Faction. A ninja who infiltrated Matthew perry's ship who fears that the art of Ninjutsu i almost a lost art. NPCs are all the Non-player Characters that the main character interacts with throughout the game. These NPCs can provide additional dialog, information, services, and items, or may be related to different Missions in the game.
Ninja from Iga Province. he once infiltrated Commodore Perry's Black Ship on the order of his daimyo. Fearing that ninjutsu is on its way to becoming a lost art, he searches for a worthy disciple to whom he can pass on his skills.
Sawamura once stole a foreign text from the Black Ships and had it translated by Yukichi Fukuzawa. Unimpressed with its content, he deemed it worthless. besides being a master of the Iga school of combat, he is also an adept of the Hayabusa school, a ninja art passed down for generations by a secret "clan of dragons"- though no one quite knowns where he studied it.
Ninja Gaiden is a series of computer games developed by the Japanese company Tecmo and later by Team Ninja. The main character of most of them is a ninja named Ryu Hayabusa, armed with a sword and throwing shuriken knives. The plots of the various games in the series, loosely related to each other, placed Ryu in modern America, medieval Japan, or a fictional world. The later games in the series, developed by Team Ninja, were set in a shared universe with the Dead or Alive series of fighting games, and characters from one series appeared in the other and vice versa. The Ninja Gaiden games, both the early side-scrolling platformers and the later 3D ones, are known for their high difficulty.
The Ninja Gaiden series of games dates back to 1988. At that time, the game from Taito Double Dragon was very popular and the Tecmo company decided to create a similar game. In 1988, two games called Ninja Gaiden were released. Ninja Gaiden (arcade machine) was also released for the ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64 and DOS platforms. Its genre is beat'em up. Another game with a similar name was released for the NES platform.
When the game was released on the NES platform, only the title and the ninja character were retained. The genre was changed to platformer. Ryu Hayabusa now has a dragon sword and can also use shuriken and ninpo attacks. The game's story is told through cutscenes and revolves around Ryu's missing father, two figurines, and the main villain Jaco. In Japan it is called Ninja Ryukenden.
