Foch R99 French Carrier Early Version 3D Model
The Foch was an aircraft carrier of the French Navy, sister ship of the Clemenceau.Built from 1957, it was commissioned in 1961. Her hull number is R99. With 265 meters long, 51.2 m wide, it was then the largest ship in the French Navy, with a full load tonnage of 32,800 tons. Its flight deck displayed an area of 8800 m2, and its hangar 3300 m2.This type of aircraft carrier could carry more than 2,000 sailors depending on the configurations of the naval aviation on board.Equipped with 2 steam catapults, the Foch and Clemenceau aircraft carriers accommodated a multitude of aircraft, including Super Etendards, Crusader F-8Ps, Alizé helicopters and Dauphin and Super Frelon helicopters. The flight deck was 259 meters long, with each carrier having 2 elevators.
