Soft Upper Body for Genesis 8 Female
Thank you all for your support of my Soft series products. To show my appreciation, I have created a free product: Soft Upper Body for Genesis 8 Female. In some cases, it can be used to achieve the squeeze deformation effect of clothing on the upper body skin of the character, thereby adding more detail and expressiveness to your renderings.

Product Description:
In DAZ Studio, when we dress a G8F character, the clothing merely conforms to the surface of the G8F model, rather than squeezing the character's skin as real-world clothing would. Some creators provides HD morphs for G8F so that when their clothing assets are applied to the character, these HD morphs activate, making the character's skin appear deformed as if squeezed by the clothing, thereby showcasing the garment's elasticity. However, most clothing assets do not come with such HD morphs, which may prevent them from perfectly displaying their texture during rendering.
Soft Upper Body for Genesis 8 Female provides a complete set of tools and a workflow to make your clothing assets appear tighter and more elastic during rendering. It replaces the entire upper body of G8F, including the chest, back, and arms, with a high-resolution geograft. Through a dedicated plugin in Blender, your clothing model squeezes this geograft. Finally, an importer script brings the squeezed and deformed result back into your scene, achieving an effect similar to the aforementioned HD morphs. The entire process takes only a few minutes.
Please note: Unlike Soft Breasts for Genesis 8 Female, this product focuses on the squeezing of skin by clothing assets. Therefore, it does not include nipple shape morphs and breast pose control morphs. Additionally, because the high-resolution geograft has over 164,000 polygons, your DAZ Studio may experience brief lag when importing the squeezed deformation results. Don't worry, this is normal, you just need to wait a few seconds for the importer to complete its task.
