L’Hermione French Old Frigate 3D Model
L'Hermione is a French Concorde-class frigate originally built in 1779. It is world-famous for carrying the Marquis de Lafayette to the United States in 1780 to assist the Americans in the Revolutionary War.In 1997, a major project began in Rochefort, France, to construct an exact, authentic replica of the ship using traditional 18th-century methods. The modern replica successfully sailed across the Atlantic in 2015 to retrace Lafayette's historic voyage. Since late 2021, the replica has been stationed in a dry dock in Anglet (Bayonne).
