Parametric Palm Tree - Blender Geometry Nodes + Printable ST 3D Model

3D model description
Parametric Palm Tree designed for architectural models, miniature landscapes, dioramas and scale modeling.

This package includes a fully parametric Blender model with native Geometry Nodes and ready-to-print STL files.

The palm tree is divided into a vertical trunk and separate radial leaf branches with a modular joint system. The number, size and arrangement of the radial branches and leaves can be customized directly in Blender.

Main features

• Fully parametric Blender model
• Native Geometry Nodes – no scripts required
• Blender 4.5 LTS or later
• 1 to 6 radial leaf layers
• 3 to 12 leaves per radial branch
• Adjustable trunk height, diameter and curvature
• Adjustable leaf length, width, thickness and variation
• Adjustable joint tip dimensions and spacing
• Adjustable diametral joint clearance
• Individual rotation control for each radial branch
• Automatic minimum dimensions based on nozzle diameter
• Designed for 0.2 / 0.4 / 0.6 mm FDM nozzles
• Initial scale: 1:50
• Model units: millimeters

The included STL files are prepared at 1:50 scale for a 0.4 mm nozzle and can be printed directly. The Blender file allows you to generate other configurations, scales and nozzle setups.

The leaves are designed to be printed flat and manually shaped after printing, allowing more natural and varied palm tree forms.

A detailed How to Use guide is included with parameter explanations, assembly order, printing orientation and STL export instructions.

This model was developed especially for architectural scale models, professional maquettes, miniature vegetation, dioramas and model making.

Important: joint tolerance can vary depending on printer calibration, material and first-layer expansion. A physical tolerance test is recommended before final production.

3D printing settings
Recommended printing technology: FDM / FFF

Model units: mm
Default scale: 1:50
Default nozzle: 0.4 mm

Compatible nozzle presets:
• 0.2 mm
• 0.4 mm
• 0.6 mm

Printing orientation

Print the trunk vertically.

Print the radial leaf branches flat, with the smooth side facing the build plate.

Suggested initial layer height

0.2 mm nozzle → 0.1 mm
0.4 mm nozzle → 0.2 mm
0.6 mm nozzle → 0.3 mm

A brim is recommended for the tall trunk.

Supports are normally not required for the default configuration but may be necessary if the trunk curvature is significantly increased.

Default diametral joint clearance: 0.25 mm.

This value is a starting point only. Printer calibration, material, extrusion and first-layer expansion may affect the fit.

After printing, carefully shape the leaves manually. Do not bend the joint ring area.

The radial branches are assembled from the top of the trunk and can be fixed with a small amount of glue after adjusting their final rotation and inclination.

Included STLs are already exported in millimeters at 1:50 scale for a 0.4 mm nozzle.

When exporting customized parts from Blender, use the 01_IMPRESSAO scene, apply modifiers, export only the selected object, use export scale 1 and verify dimensions in your slicer.
