Detailed ROV Remote Operating Vehicle 3D Model
Detailed ROV
This is a detailed ROV (Remote Operating Vehicle) built in 3dsmax from photo reference.
This ROV is designed to go to very low depths in the ocean and was used in the recovery of the Apollo 11 Engines.
I also used this model in an animation for the recovery of flight MH370 that was supposed to be on CNN, but alas, the plane was never recovered or found.
Main Formats: 3dsmax .MAX 2011 and .MAX2014.
Other Formats: FBX, 3DS
Materials: Arch & Design
Render: Mental Ray
No Plugins Used.
There is no rigging within this model. All objects are on a single layer and not named.
If planning to utilize the FBX or 3DS files please note that some materials and textures may need to re-applied or fixed.
