This model is divided into TWO separate parts:
Anglerfish body with integrated support connector
Display base
Both parts are designed to fit together securely.
The connector system allows a clean and stable assembly after printing.
Test fit the parts before applying glue.
For permanent assembly, use:
Super glue for resin prints
Strong cyanoacrylate adhesive for FDM prints
IMPORTANT PRINTING NOTICE
The upper lure stem and tip are intentionally thin and detailed to preserve realism.
This area is fragile.
Handle with extreme care during:
Support removal
Cleaning
Curing
Sanding
Assembly
For resin printing:
Use light but sufficient supports around the lure stem to prevent bending or snapping.
For FDM printing:
Use slower speeds and ensure good layer adhesion.
Consider increasing wall count slightly for extra strength.
Do not force removal of supports in this area.
Work slowly and carefully.
OPTIONAL LIGHTING FEATURE
Advanced users can enhance the model by adding an internal LED light inside the lure tip.
If carefully modified, you can:
Hollow the lure tip slightly
Insert a small micro LED
Route thin wiring down through the stem
Hide the battery inside the body or base
